It is said that pregnant women have some weird and crazy taste combination cravings, but some of these food combinations may shock you.

Twinings_Salted_Caramel_Green_Tea__20562Let’s first look at some new mixtures that use an old-time favorite: caramel. A tea company has release salted caramel green tea. The verdict is still out on this one, as some like it and others would prefer dirt water.  Salted caramel has also snuck its way into cheese. Some fruits have successfully made it into various cheeses, but caramel is not a fruit and this combination is apparently not delicious.

marmite-easter-eggFor Easter this year, Marmite fans received a pleasant surprise as Marmite flavored chocolate Easter eggs hit the shelves and did not disappoint loyalists.

Forget crispy chocolate bars this season; potato chip chocolate bars are the new flavor that people actually love. Philadelphia has added Cadbury chocolate to their cream cheese, and Nutella lovers feel like it is a cheap trick. Oreos have been revamping their classic flavor line with all sorts of concoctions, and the newest one, watermelon, has people licking their lips. A big hit with chutney lovers is the recent addition of Bacon Jam. Last, but certainly not least, Iceland supermarkets continually surprise shoppers with combinations of flavors they release in their brand products. Whatever your quirky tastes may be, just know that there are probably others out there with tastes just as weird as yours.
