The house where king of pop Michael Jackson spent his last days with his kids along with hundreds of other items belonging to the star are up for sale in an auction by Julien’s Auctions on December 17. Along with the house, the queen size bed where the star breathed his last are also up for sale. It is believed that the auction will include other items from the Holmby Hills mansion like antique furnishings and paintings that was around the star while he prepared for his comeback concerts.
Together with these precious items, a note chalkboard bearing the notes ‘I (heart) Daddy’ from Jackson’s kids will also form part of the sale. The chalkboard is currently in the mansion’s kitchen and despite its low face value, it nevertheless holds immense emotional value.
The Carolwood Drive home is also up for sale. As a reminder, this is the mansion where the king of pop spent his final days along with his three kids until his death on June 25, 2009. Starting from Dec 12, highlights of the exhibit will be shown by Julien’s Auctions.
