New morgue with warning system in case the bodies came back from the dead
Here we thought that medicine had come a long way and doctors were finally apt to say whether a person was really dead or not. But a local town council in central Turkey, Malatya, apparently does not trust modern medicines and has come up with this novel idea of equipping its morgue with a warning system just in case the dead bodies came back to life.
According to Anatolia news agency, the municipality equipped its mortuary with refrigerators which were sensitive to the slightest movement inside and immediately gives out an alarm. Also, in order to make it easier for the dead to come out of, the doors were also kitted with a unique type of clip which automatically opened in case of contact.
The whole point behind having this one of a kind mortuary is that it may be possible that people who had initially been proclaimed dead can ultimately wake up from a state of consciousness. The mortuary is expected to open its doors within a week and has a capacity of 36 bodies so far.
