Here’s an amazing way of protesting against uptight laws-strip off and run for a marathon, in other words an  Underwear Protest.  At least this is what citizens of Salt Lake City have done whereby some 3000 people stripped off to protest against the very conservative nature of the state’s politics.  Nate Porter, Undie & Lingerie Run Organizer, explains that the whole idea behind this run was to demonstrate the population’s frustration with regard to the current uptight laws which pertains to some specific legislation like gay marriage.

Nate Porter explains that nudity was prohibited and people turned up for the run wearing only bras and panties, nightgowns, colorful boxer shorts and swimwear while sporting political messages to express their frustration in relation to strict laws on parts of their body.

The run started in downtown Salt Lake City-which is home to the Mormon Church, an avid opponent of gay marriage-and toured about a mile away past the Capitol building.  All in all, this is definitely a new peaceful way of standing up again strict laws in a country which is supposedly free.
