Unidentified Flying Metal

It still remains a mystery as to how a 6 inch cylindrical piece of metal chunk plunged through the roof of the furniture warehouse in Plymouth, Mass.  Police officers and the owners of the warehouse are still trying to identify what exactly is this piece of metal chunk, where it comes from and how did it came all the way through the roof of the building.

Various theories have since emerged regarding the origin of the metal which weighs about 5 pounds-Federal Aviation Administration have confirmed that the metal which was broken at both ends could not be an airplane part and is more likely to be from a piece of heavy machinery.  However, the question remains as to how it came crashing through the roof of the building on Wednesday or Thursday.

When the metal piece crashed through the roof, it left a small hole in the ceiling and left ceiling tile debris scattered.  No one was hurt from the incident, although the owners claim that someone could have been hurt from this crash.

I wonder if they could check what kind of plane will use that kind of metal in their plane. It is important to find out because losing any part of the plane is a disaster.

  2. Graham says:

It must be really heavy and was dropped from a very high place since it left a hole on the rooftop. I am glad that it hits the rooftop and not just any innocent people’s head.
