In order to celebrate the Guinness World Records day more than 300, 000 people around the globe have participated in races or other competitions in an attempt to break already established world records or achieve new ones. Some people have successfully made their names to the Book of Records like Bernice Mary Bates in Florida who is now known as the world’s oldest yoga teacher at the age of 91. Similarly the record for the largest Cream Tea Part was achieved in Essex and attended by 334 people.
On the other hand, Canary Wharf in London, hosted an out of the ordinary race between the world’s smallest roadworthy car, the world’s fastest toilet and the world’s fastest mobility scooter and in the end the record was achieved by the scooter which reached a top speed of 71.79 mph.
Again at Canary Wharf some 57 people attempted to squeeze themselves into a giant pair of pants in an attempt to achieve a new record.
